Instagram Video Thumbnail: Scrub through the video to select the thumbnail#1059

Instagram thumbnail selection feature is great, thank you for adding that.

It would be great if we could scrub through the uploaded video and choose a thumbnail. Helps when you need a specific part of the video to be the thumbnail so that Instagram profile aesthetics isn’t ruined.

Any issues that you have with selecting a thumbnail from the ones that are automatically generated by us?

Hey, it’s great. As I mentioned above, in some cases we need to select a specfic frame so that our profile page looks clean by following a color palatte.

Another case: I post a lot of trailers and frames change fast, automatic thumbnail generation might miss some frames we need.

Please do look into this feature improvement request if there is demand for this. Thank you.

I would be really happy if this feature were added soon. It shouldn’t be that hard—other providers like buffer.com already offer it, and I really enjoyed that feature there. Please add it to Publer, too! Thanks!
