Make it possible to tag on LinkedIn#260

I know that LinkedIn makes it hard to tag users. But it seems like we should be able to tag pages if nothing else.

Hi Josh. Very soon you will be able to mention the company pages that you manage. This is what the current API allows us.

Cool. I know that you can tag pages through Sprout, so it has to be possible (as opposed to personal accounts where I don’t think the API allows it at all). Will be great to have this added feature. Thank you!

yes, please this. Right now, I think you can only tag pages you manage. I’d love to be able to tag any page - like I can within LinkedIn

Same! Want to be able to tag any page and person that I follow or I’m connected to. That would be a HUGE selling point.

I heard that LinkedIn doesn’t allow tagging of users on 3rd party apps (which kind of sucks). But has anything been done about company pages? I tried to tag some company pages today in my LinkedIn post and it appeared to load but then failed again.

Amplifr used to do it for FB and twitter but now it only does it for Twitter. I think the APIs change and the providers just ry to roll with the punches. I’m certain that if Publer could let us tag pages/acocunts in LinkedIn then it would.

Personally, I am wary of being able to tax a person as a page. Nothing good has ever come of that.
