Provide integration to post on Mastondon

Mastodon is very similar to Twitter, and with users bouncing around more than even (as we’ve seen with Facebook/WhatsApp and Twitter), it’s only a matter of time before there’s a mass migration from Twitter to Mastodon.

These things happen gradually at first, and then all at once.

And with privacy & data rights in the spotlight, it’s safe to assume this is coming soon as more people migrate from the big tech centalized platforms to decentralized alternatives (Mastodon, Diaspora, PixelFed).

After the takeover of Twitter by Musk, a lot of people are moving to Mastodon among my target group. Would be great to integrate Mastodon.

Another vote here for Mastodon. Would be great to see Publer be an early adopter for this.

Hi everyone, we hope you’re enjoying this integration!

We just added two more features:

• Mastodon has DeepL integration for language translations but needs the correct tag to work properly. This is now possible in Publer

(make sure to sync the Mastodon’s info under the social account settings in Publer for the default posting language)

• Favorite one: you can add a spoiler or a warning to your posts. This is now also possible in Publer.

I know Mastodon doesn’t get a lot of use on Publer, but I love it. Thanks for adding new features!

We use it a lot also. It is our main social media. Thx !

Mastodon usage is at 100%, Twitter at 0% for us. Just to provide some context :)
