As a new unfaniliar user is locked in arbitraily to order in the first seconds of using Publer.
Order can be important to group and organise planning.
Strategy dictates a certain order.
Dragging to re-order platforms means a user can correct their initial mistakes in setup.

Hi @Justin de Vries
Could you please elaborate a bit more on this request so we can better understand what you are suggesting?
From your description, it sounds like you would like to manually reorder the connected platforms/social accounts by dragging and dropping them, so they appear in a preferred order for planning and organization.
Could you please clarify:
Where exactly would you like this order to apply?
For example, in the Create page, Calendar, Social Accounts list, workspace setup, or somewhere else?
Are you referring to reordering social accounts, platform groups, or the selected accounts inside the post composer?
Should this be a personal display preference only, or should the order apply to the whole workspace/team?
A short example of your ideal workflow would help us understand the request more clearly and evaluate it better.
Thank you

I’m not familar with publer yet - wherever I use it. Calendar, Social Accounts list, workspace setup. i use it as a band posting to 3-5 platofrms. for promo.
I’m told upon joining publer and adding/connecting platforms accounts, the order they appear in on my work station or whatever will be determined by order they are added in the setting up account phase.
This cannot be altered. therefore that order is chosen then.
I dont want order to be arbitrary as the order signifies workflow and categorising.
So it’s not clear if the order it appears will be :
1st added = appears on TOP, others stacked under
OR
1st added is stacked under last previous added. ( so the first added will end up on the bottom of the listed order as thy will forever appear in my work station/flow/account.
Thanks J

Hi Justin,
Thanks for clarifying.
Social accounts in Publer are currently ordered automatically, first by platform and then by the account name inside Publer. They cannot be manually reordered by dragging and dropping at the moment.
As a workaround, you can rename the accounts inside Publer to control their order more clearly. For example, you can use letters or numbers at the beginning of the account name:
Bluesky:
1 - Bsky account name
2 - Bsky account name
Facebook:
1 - Facebook account name
2 - Facebook account name
Or:
A - Bsky account name
B - Bsky account name
A - Facebook account name
B - Facebook account name
This should help you organize the accounts better within each platform. You can also use account groups to organize accounts by client, brand, workflow, or category:

Your request has been merged into the existing “Sorting of accounts” suggestion so we can track demand for more flexible manual ordering in the future.
