Calendar Day View UX Improvement#2775

I’ve been using the calendar (Day view) and really like the overall scheduling experience — especially the ability to quickly move between days using the arrow controls beside the “Today” button.

However, I’ve noticed a small usability issue:

When navigating between days using the arrows, the “Today” label remains static. This can make it slightly disorienting, as there’s no immediate reference to the current day of the week you’re viewing — only the date is shown.

Suggested improvement

It would be very helpful if the interface dynamically displayed the day name corresponding to the selected date when navigating.

For example:

Instead of only showing the date, include a prefix such as:
WED 25 Mar 2026
Or alternatively, update the “Today” label dynamically when cycling through days (while still retaining a clear “Jump to Today” button).
Why this helps
Improves orientation when scheduling across multiple days
Reduces cognitive load when planning content
Makes the Day view more intuitive, especially for frequent scheduling workflows

This suggestion applies specifically to the Day view in the calendar.

Thanks for building such a useful tool — this small tweak would make the experience even smoother.

Best regards,
