Swim lanes in month and week views#2680

I often use the month and calendar views to check what’s coming up and schedule new or reschedule already created posts.

In those views, every day “fills” from the top down, probably according to publish time. This is excellent when you want to see what’s coming up when.

The challenge I face is that this means the channels “jump” position on different days according to their scheduled time. So LinkedIn may be at the top on one day and at the bottom on another. That makes it hard to check for gaps and see the order of when a post is scheduled on which platform - for example for posts announcing an article on Substack.

Yes, I know I can get all the posts for an account at the top by filtering for that account. But when I do I lose the overview between/over all accounts.

Suggestion 1:
Add a “swim lane” feature to keep each selected account in its own lane (order customizable”, so that all my LinkedIn posts show up in the top swim lane, my BlueSky posts in the second swim lane, and only ordered according to their scheduled time within a swim lane.

It would allow me to more easily check for gaps without losing my overview.

Suggestion 2:
Ability to use hours as swim lanes.
Sort of same as suggestion 1, but now using customizable time periods for swim lanes
It would make for a more informative overview to what goes out when.

Suggestion 3:
Combination of suggestions 2 and 1.
