Event Labels for Days/Weeks/Months in the Calendar#2669

There are numerous events we are tracking that need posts in the week before, during, and after. eg. Back to School, Valentines Day, Black Friday, Oscars, Sports Grand Final etc.

So it would help if we could multi-label certain days/weeks in the calendar with a name like ‘Back to School’.

At the moment, it’s not possible to label entire days, weeks, or months in the calendar with event names like “Back to School” or “Black Friday.”

That said, you can get a similar result by using labels on your posts and scheduling them around those dates. This lets you filter the calendar by label and quickly see all posts related to a specific event.

For national holidays, these are already shown directly in the calendar. You’ll see a small calendar icon on the relevant days, and clicking it will show the holidays.
