When viewing media, there are currently columns for only Media, Name, Caption, Labels, Upload Date, Action. Yet the random URL names that Publer adds to images and requires users to add to their CSV files (for posting their many posts) are especially crucial. DISPLAYING them would allow users to copy/paste or export the info in a way that would PAIR THE RANDOM URL NAMES with the file names that users created.
Here is why this simple fix would save users a massive amount of time and frustration:
Virtually every social media post ought to have an image, yet adding images to a csv file (big spreadsheets of many posts) is currently hugely and unnecessarily time-intensive due to many reasons:
(a) You change the name of uploaded images (so we can’t pre-set up a logical system from our computer),
(b) there is a then a delay as we wait for Publer to establish the permanent names that Publer will randomly use for the images,
(c) Publer then SCRAMBLES the order of the images (so it is VERY time-consuming to go through the whole spreadsheet hunting down each row that goes with the specific image that is hard to find in the scrambled order—and this has to be done for every single image and every single spreadsheet row),
(d) Publer will not display the new random image names on the screen, so (rather than being able to export/copy the new random names ALONGSIDE the original file names, which would allow us to easily match them up on our spreadsheet or else reestablish their correct order to easily paste them into our spreadsheet correctly) we instead have to click to see each one individually and then copy each one individually), etc.
Thank you.
