share tweets/threads in instagram storys instead of post#2380

In Publer, when you hit the “Share” button for a scheduled post from X (Twitter) or Threads, could there be an option to share it as an Instagram Story?

If the API doesn’t allow direct sharing to Stories maybe Publer could generate an image with a neutral background (white, grey, etc.) and post it to Instagram Stories.
Since tweets or threads shared in stories are usually displayed as images anyway.

Maybe this workaround could be implemented, either by creating an image or even generating a new “story” post on the timeline. Either way, it would be really great

Hi Clarence,

Shares are basically links, thus the only way we can achieve this, is if we add the option to convert a link to photos, with or without background.

Hi, thanks for the explanation but I was talking/thinking about an other method that as nothing to do with links, you see “sharing” a tweet to instagram in the conventional way and the way you are describing to me is publer -> twitter -> instagram

What i am talking about is : publer -> twitter AND publer -> instagram
Since Publer is alble to “simulate” what the tweet is going to look like in preview, I was thinking about using this type of thing to create a “fake share” of a tweet already scheduled in publer, by creating the instagram story post regarding the tweet, it could even be his own scheduled post. This would bypass the link sharing part, and create something similar as a share

Thanks
