Post via reminder for all post types (i.e. IG photos)#2218

It’d be great to be able to post IG photos via reminders so trending music can be added, just like we can do with reels.

As we’re wrapping up the roadmap for Q1, please let us know if this is somethig worth investing in Q2.

On a related note, really any post should be able to be published via reminder so that you can further adjust it on other platforms if necessary. Music is just one aspect of something you need to do natively on a platform, but there are other things too that aren’t allowed via API (which means Publer can’t offer them on automatic posting).

Yes please, make this happen for Q1… I’m literally waiting for this feature in order to subscribe and start using your service 🙏🏼

One more thing to demonstrate the importance of this: There’s a huge differences in reach when posting automatically via API vs. posting manually via push notification (since the platform considers that a native “human” post, as opposed to an automation).

Hello Maia, this is on our roadmap for the near future, but we don’t have an exact timeline yet. Please feel free to upvote the request so we can better prioritize it in the upcoming quarters.

This particular point is crucial, especially with the rise of AI-generated content.

The AI label can be set manually when posting on Instagram, but this option is not exposed through the Instagram API. The same applies to adding music. As long as these features remain unavailable via the API, manual publishing is unavoidable.

However, Instagram does allow up to 20 images or videos per carousel when posting manually.
If Publer supported pre-planning for manual publishing with up to 20 carousel items, this would already remove a major limitation and make the manual step far more manageable.

Right now, having to either post manually without planning or edit posts afterwards breaks the workflow unnecessarily, especially for more complex, image-heavy content 🙂
