Send videos from Canva to Publer#1742

At the moment we can only send images to Publer via canva. I still have to download and upload all reels etc. It would be really helpful to have this option.

@Publer is there a way for us to motivate a change with CANVA? Are you motivating for this change with CANVA?

The thing is, I can push both images and videos to Later from Canva. So I can’t see how it’s a Canva limitation. The way you get images and videos to Later through Canva is different though. You don’t do it through the share button. Instead it’s done through the app feature on Canva. If I go to apps and search Later it allows me to send images and videos directly to Later. Publer does come up in Canva apps but only allows me to pull in images already existing in my Publer account. It doesn’t allow me to send images or videos into my Publer account via this method.

It seems like Later is using the latest Canva API, which was recently launched:

We integrated with Canva many years ago, and the API that we’re currently using does not support videos.

We will have to build a new integration, using their new API in order to support videos.

Unfortunately, this is not a priority at the moment considering the workload this requires, the low interest (6 upvotes), and other feature requests we’re working on.

This can change at any time, so try to get your fellow Publer users to upvote this feature request.

We will also ask the rest of the customers if this is important to them as well :)

This feature actually one of the key feature that I am looking. As you know that reel has gain traction in many ways. So yeah this one is actually a key feature.
