Push notification-based posting#1480

There are still some things the various network APIs don’t allow for when posting, especially when it comes to reels. And sometimes, I just don’t want the entire posting to be done automatically. Therefore, as we now have the Publer mobile app, I would love the option to be able to post via push notification, as other schedulers currently offer. At the appointed time, get an app notification on your phone, then it uploads and prepares the media as much as it can, letting you add the final touches and manually hit “post.”

Now that Publer has notifications for stories, perhaps we can get them for posts? Please please!! 🤞

Yes, please - this now seems so simple with stories having it! Would be so helpful :)

Some great news!

This is now Live!

You have the option to post Instagram reels and stories, Facebook reels and stories, YouTube shorts, and TikTok videos either automatically or via reminders.

The posts need to be created on the web. These options will be introduced to the mobile app as well.

Nonetheless, the push notifications will work as long as you update to the latest version.

Last but not least, using the same flow, we will also support Threads App, Facebook Personal Profiles, and Twitter/X Long Posts.
