Mix videos and images within the same post#1285

Currently we are only able to have multi-image post, but it would be very helpful to have multi-video posts for social media, even if only able to post via a notification with the app.
These features are currently included in competitors (despite not having everything else publer does), so I know it is currently possible via API

I wanted to add that this is extremely important for many users – especially for those who actively use Telegram and X (Twitter).
On Telegram, mixing photos and videos in one post is one of the most common and effective formats for storytelling, announcements, and engagement. The same goes for X – being able to post an image + video together significantly increases reach and interaction.
Right now we have to create multiple separate posts, which breaks the flow of the content and reduces engagement. Many competitors already support mixed media, so it would be great to see Publer catch up in this area.
Since the status is already “Planned” and ETA is Q2 2026, could you please share any updates on the progress? This feature would make a huge difference for nonprofits, creators, and teams who rely on visual storytelling.

So now you moved it to Q4 2026?!?! This feature should have been here years ago and you keep postponing. Video carousels are key for SMM and without them Publer is useles for many businesses!

We understand your frustration, but we had no other choice and we hope to have your understanding.

While this looks easy on paper, it requires us to rewrite the entire infrastructure, thus blocking us entirely from working on features that are equally important to the majority of our customers.

Now you can add one caption per carousel item, when will we be able to do it in publer?

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible through their API yet.

We’ll keep monitoring it, and if they make it available in the future, we’ll consider adding it as a feature request.
