Location Tagging / Geo-tagging for posts#123

Hi I would like the ability to tag locations in a post. Working in the events industry it’s important to tag the location of each location for the people we work with and to showcase our work. Social media platforms that use location tagging are Facebook, Instagram and Twitter that I can think of off the top of my head right now. This feature would be super useful. Please see the below screenshot of it in use in another Socail Media Manager as an example.

I agree. It’s a must have for event promotion.

Totally agree…. as a photographer working events, it’s super important to be able to tag not only other pages, but people, and GEO tag locations. Please add this feature! THANK YOU!!!

P.S. Tagging / mentioning individuals is not possible for Facebook as their API (what we use to communicate with Facebook) does not allow that in order to prevent abuse.

I would like this for Google My Business as it is really important there.

@Sheryl, Google My Business does not seem to support tagging locations in posts.

You can now tag locations in scheduled posts for Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Location tagging is not possible for the rest of the social accounts as they don’t support it.

This is awesome, I have stuff I can location tag and have been saving up social during this pandemic (my company is in events and no one is searching or contacting us). But the moment things start to go back to normal… location tag AWESOME!!!!
